I don’t think it would matter what time of year as long as the temps are warm enough to sustain the plants…but I am not sure! Let us know how this goes for you!

Hi ,This is an awesome document and very helpful. i try to get seeds from plant ..I do it because I love to grow different colour ful plant in our garden ..Thanks for those helpful picture in the document .

I read your “Moss Milkshake” article. I would like to try this on our new water stream (on the rocks) we put in this summer. It is a mostly shaded area. My question is, is there an ideal time of year that works better than other times for the to grow. I live in the Seattle, WA metro area.

i have the most amazing plants called chloe . very tall and have thorns, with pink blooms on all the sprouts . now they have what look like string beans hanging of them would that be the seeds or are the seeds inside these pods?
i loved reading your article and great pix. i will try the snap dragons and marigolds for sure
